After a fleeting visit to the opening of the new Coronation Street set, our local heroes stepped into the Rover's for a pint of Newton and Ridley's finest. Little did they realize that outside was a very special guest cutting the ribbon. The inebriated pair spotted Her Maj' and decided to get in on the act. Tour stories were retold by both parties but the gag about getting 'stuck into Betty's hotpot' was definitely most frowned upon.
